Through storyboards, video, sound recordings, static and interactive displays, the Exhibit Hall details the historic and contemporary aspects of Wisconsin’s No. 1 fruit crop.

This log cabin was the workshop of Albert Cook, an area carpenter who made cranberry handrakes, a scoop-like tool used to harvest cranberries. His workshop provides an interesting glimpse into the unique history of the cranberry industry.

Dugout Canoe
Dugout Canoe
A dugout canoe found on a local cranberry marsh is the featured artifact in the Discovery Center’s exhibit on Native Americans. Estimated to be about 150 years old, the dugout is one of only 90 canoe relics that have been discovered in Wisconsin.

Model T Ford
Model T Ford
One of the larger items on display in the Exhibit Hall is a 1914 Model T once owned by Carl Getsinger. Carl was the first cranberry grower in the Cranmoor area to buy a truck for use on his cranberry marsh.
